Some residents may have heard about the DEP’s investigation into some contamination found in local wells. So far a couple of wells in Mount Pleasant have tested at high levels of PFAS.
DEP will be sending out letters like this along with a well testing survey to be filled out as they expand their radius of concern. All this is at no expense of homeowner, this includes the testing, bottled water provided if well tested high for PFAS, and for a treatment system. This letter is posted here at Center and on our website along with the information to contact DEP directly concerning this issue.
